Rings for life.

Komal looked at her face in the mirror, tears started to appear into the sides of her eyes. Her burnt cheeks were the representation of her burnt desires. On the day of her ring ceremony she was attacked  by the fire crackers mercilessly. The mother, brother and Komal, the family of three were now tensed about the outcomes that may follow. It was a proper arrange marriage set up and it had a probable possibility that the groom would take his steps back from the association or Komal would be criticized by the in-laws.She was taken immediately to the hospital and was treated.Back on the same day, they had no clue what was proposed to happen and all were celebrating, dancing and enjoying the occasion that’s when a fellow cousins son demanded to burn crackers.Firstly it was a “no” from her mothers side but people around them convinced her as he was a harmless child of 7 years and had an innocent request.

Everything was pretty until the rocket decided to go and meet his co-mates and directly turned into the direction of where the other crackers were kept and blasted there.
Komal was sitting beside the box,she tried to run away but her cloth piece was stuck onto the sharp edge of the table..as she aimed to remove it a huge blast happened just in front of his eyes, close to her cheeks.Much to everyone’s horror there was a huge scar on her face .

Since the time she had returned from the hospital, she was watching her eyes into the mirror without a pause.

Her gown for the night was kept on the sofa aligned but she didn’t had the guts to see  it.Though her in-laws were aware of it by now but there was no negative reaction from their end which was a positive sign,so engagement ceremony was still intact to be held on the same day and same time.
Komal was taken to the parlour and minimum three layers of foundation was applied onto her face to make the appearance of burns go way but the scar was still visible, nothing more than that could have been done now and the pink cheeks now brown were left into the hands of fate.As she sat down in the car to reach the Venue she began anticipating and ifs and cans even the cant’s,tears started rolling down her cheeks further messing her made up face. This time she didn’t even bothered to look in the rear view mirror of the car.Once reached, she got out of the car and started walking down the aisle. She reached the stage where her husband was already waiting for her.Not being able
to look even into his eyes she nervously gave her hand into his and climbed the stairs of the stage. She showcased a quick yet nervous smile on her face that’s when the groom held her head high by placing his hand on her chin and moving it upwards. He then said “How beautiful are you looking!! “
Komal was amazed by seeing his face beaming with happiness and in that very moment she decided to want to spend the whole life with this man holding her high!
This time she smiled with no boundaries too..!

Pani Puri  On a Wednesday evening i went with my husband to have pani puri, i wasn't much in the mood to have it but the husband wanted to and as he says i am the sarthi to him. We drove off in our WagonR and reached about 5 km away from our place near Birhana Road to have pani puri...oh so delicious pani puri, as my husband would call it. Now as I told you already I was in no mood to have it but I accompanied my husband so as I was standing near the thela of the gorgeous looking Pani Puri instantly my eyes went onto the gigantic hoarding of the marvellous Sonam Kapoor hoarding a necklace worth of crores and beneath that was a women standing in shattered clothes holding her frail daughter. There were at least 10 people gathered near the thela and eating the oh-so-lip-smacking puris but no one cared about that poor mom and her child. both looking desperately at the people standing in a circle I was the only one who was standing at the

Girl Boss

Late Evening, the beds were uplifted from the floor to somewhere in between the air, for her husband and daughter to sleep. They had to vacant the floor to fill up their stomach. Her daughter who was 3,was down with fever and husband lay unconsious beside the daughter. She wanted to hug her kid and be with her but was forced upon by circumstances to get ready. Her red lipstick just broke yesterday, but she got no time to fix it up, using a paint brush, she is applying it now.Around 6 years back she was told to apply the red one as it appeals the people. Getting dressed in a hurry, fidgeting with her earring from one hand and removing excess kajal from another. She is almost ready for what needs to happen next. After about 5 minutes later, she could see a man entering into the room.
