This story is about the times when i wasn't even born.
In 1993,my family went on a visit to Kedarnath, the temple of Lord Shiva. And is situated over the himalayan range which is obviously very difficult to travel. On top of that my mother was down with 103 degrees fever.
Regardless of that, she still took bath in the holy spring water and was prepared for the Darshan.Standing in the line of hundreds with Dadi and Papa she almost passed out but was determined to see the Aarti infront of her eyes.Panda's came her way who offered her direct darshana if in exchange of some money but she refused. After hours of standing in the line,as soon as it was her turn to offer prasaad to the Lord, the curtains were down. And they were told ti visit the temple after 4 days!
Agitated, everybody walked away and my mother sat outside the temple, sobbing. No one was able to console her,she started saying things and cursing her God.According to her it was just a piece of stone sitting inside now.Suddenly, she could sense someone standing close by,there was a middle aged man,he asked if she would like to see the Aarti.Confused, she said yes.
The man took her hand, made up stand up,signalled the family to come along and started walking.
Soon, they were inside the temple and were sitting in the front row, they saw the aarti from the closest. My mom searched for that man but chouldn't find him anywhere after that.
The next day,she made a visit to the temple again, though the doors were closed but she stood outside the gate and said Sorry, seeking blessings.
While returning she met the same man who gave her a Rudraaksha this time. But before she could ask anything,he just vanished like magic.
After 16 years, she still has that rudraaksha and remember every detail minute by minute.
Was it the Lord himself?Or was it a mere coincidence?Maybe this all could not have happend if she never fought with her God.
We demnd things from our Parents,family,friends..why not Him?
He is as Human as us maybe more, and understands every emotion. And,ever since i heard this story as a child,i secretly wished that the entity would help me finish my milk,do my homework.I still wish, not sure if i fought like my mom did the iconic day because...m still waiting.
